A long way from home, on a Friday afternoon

A fair few of the cars that come through the roller door on George Street belong to people who never planned to stop in Millicent at all. Something goes wrong on the highway, and suddenly the whole trip depends on finding a workshop that will take a look.

The old service station mural runs the length of the wall beside the workshop. Plume and Super Plume bowsers, a cream FJ, a bloke leaning on a blue coupe, and a dog asleep on the concrete. It has been part of the streetscape for years, and it is the easiest set of directions anyone in town can give you.
